Completed with Pureeka! late last year, this painting was somewhat of an experiment in combining air and hand brush techniques to arrive at the illusion of luminosity. It all went rather well, and took the cityscapes to a new level of development for me, that of creating an environment that underscored the visual statement being made.
The photo doesn't really show the full lighting effects and floodlight vapor at froggie's feet, which is much more luminous when physically seen.
Still amazes me as to the combination of human detachment and product overkill.
About 200 hours working every day and night nonstop.

What is life? It is the flash of a firefly in the night. It is the breath of a buffalo in the wintertime. It is the little shadow which runs across the grass and loses itself in the sunset. My stock account [link]
Jeez man, that's just incredible. The amount of detail that you put into your paintings is just astounding. 200 hours to complete a painting sounds like madness, but the results speak for themselves! Sterling job mate!
You do such excellent work. You seem inspired by city scenes recently.
The light pole on the left seems to be flat. Is that just me?
