Pocketful of Hope
Acrylics on panel 12"x12" 2009 Painted in similar fashion as [link] Diogenes, mostly sable brushes with acrylics, watercolor pencils and medium. This was left in a comparatively unfinished state in order to give a sense of life to the figure rather than have it appear as a lifeless piece of sculpture among the immediate surroundings. Not fully varnished yet.. bound for an upcoming show. |

On top of oils, I would doubt it since oils are usually ok as a last layer, not a first due to their movement and failure to actually dry per se.
considering its size, youve crammed in some great details there, and have done a convincing job with them!!
