I was not sure at this point whether to dive back in or to leave it alone. So here it is, a picture of me after just finishing the newly painted Toothbrush and a Comb. This photo should give an indication of scale - no, not of me... the painting! =D [link]

Holy cow, Denis. I had no idea that they were actually this big. It really gives a feel for how much work you put into each piece!

Thank you for sharing!

Ha! And note the great painting above (no, not next to) me...it's the one I had previously told you about.

Thanks, kind of puts it into perspective a bit more...

I really love painting larger works. This new series really begged for more size, especially with the full length figured pieces. They do require consioderably more work, especially if they are detailed, but their presence is so much more than when cut down to scale. (Now you can see why my hand is blown out from all the drawing!)

Yes, it sure does ^^

Wow.
I had been peering at it quite hard, trying to make it out.....so thanks for explaining. How amazing. And how beautiful....that you can be so proud of each other!

I've always found that larger works are more rewarding in the end. People notice them, they are bold, and they really get the message across. Even though it's hard, you just keep doing it, and that's what really matters!

If you blow it up 200 or 300% in Photoshop you can make out the figures. I will post it sometime in the future.
